John helped co-found
The Table Group in 1997 after working in high tech communications.
Since leaving The Table Group as a full-time employee, he has worked
in sales & account management, and he recently spent several
years running the training department and culture development for
a mid-sized credit union.
Working with The Table
Group, with other Consulting Partners, or on his own, John has worked
with a wide variety of teams, from large, established firms to start-ups,
from seasoned executives to newly formed teams in multiple industries.
John works with The Table
Group's models for two reasons. One, they are simple - very straight-forward
ideas that are easily grasped and applied among all types of teams.
Two, they work. There are so many options out there for leaders
to select to help their teams, but The Table Group's methodology,
including The Five Dysfunctions of a Team material, consistently
improves the way teams interact and perform - and how teams lead
their organizations, too.
John has a degree in
Communications from UC Davis. He has been certified in transition
management, conflict resolution, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator,
and the entire portfolio of The Table Group’s methodology.

What
is a ‘Table Group Consulting Partner’?
The Table Group
Consulting Partners were established in 2004 in an effort
to provide consulting resources to teams The Table Group would
not otherwise be able to help. By hand-selecting a small group
of highly qualified and experienced consultants, we are now
able to offer Lencioni's unique consulting approach to teams
of all types. These consultants are the only officially certified
professionals who can deliver his material.
The two-day off-site
is the first critical engagement we provide to most of our
clients. Clients leave a Table Group off-site, or a Table
Group Consulting Partner off-site, with a very real sense
that their two days away from the office was not only worthwhile,
but some of the most productive, practical time they have
ever spent together.
