| Best-selling
author Patrick Lencioni has published over half a dozen books,
including The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. This flagship
book for The Table Group has sold more than one million copies
– it’s groundbreaking theory on teams focuses on collective
team behaviors that lead to success. As
a Consulting Partner, John works with management teams to
understand and use The Table Group's methodology, including
The Five Dysfunctions of a Team model. The work will
be fast, relevant, and very practical - teams will see a difference
both right away and over the long-term. And the rest
of the organization will quickly notice the impact, too.
What is the first step?
The two-day leadership
team offsite is the first critical engagement we provide to
most of our clients. Though no two sessions are identical
because they are customized for the needs of a client and
its industry, a typical consulting engagement begins with
a two-day session drawing upon the methodologies found in
The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, Death By Meeting,
and Pat's other books. |
|
Another starting point
for clients is The Five Dysfunctions of a Team Workshop.
This one-to-two day off-site for management teams is very hands-on
and engaging – participants will dive into the five different
behavior ‘traps’ that cause so many teams to under-perform.
Team members will learn approaches to recognize and avoid the dysfunctions
– both for themselves and for helping the rest of the team
members.
What is accomplished
in these programs?
During these fast paced
sessions, team members can expect to…
- Assess themselves
against the Five Dysfunctions
- Understand and implement
the requirements of a high performing team
- Build trust among
team members
- Better understand
the benefits of engaging in ideological conflict
- Create clarity around
the organization's purpose, strategy, and goals
- Ensure alignment
and commitment among team members
- Gain a sense of momentum,
energy and enthusiasm for the future
